Later this month a one-day fundraising workshop will be held in Winnipeg to show charities, non-profits, municipalities, associations and other community groups how they can become more sustainable by cultivating a donor base consisting of passionate long-term supporters. Facilitated by Mike Paquet of People First Resource Development (based in Hamilton, Ontario), participants may enroll in either the Thursday, March 23rd or the Friday, March 24th session. Both sessions take place from 10:00 am to 4:30 pm at the Motel 6 in Headingly.
In this workshop, registrants will learn how stewardship connects donors with the mission and vision of their organizations they support. Registrants will also develop an understanding of how stewardship transforms a donor's passive interest into passion for the cause. Best of all, registrants will see that stewarding relations with donors is a role that everyone within the organization can play.
The cost is $125 and includes lunch, coffee, tea, refreshments and course materials. Payment may be made by credit card, cheque or cash. Please note that space is limited to 20 spots.
